Companion / Homemaker Services Family Respite - AHHC’s caring professionals provide support to family members while providing peace of mind to ensure that your loved one is being taken care of. Companionship & Conversation - Conversation, companionship, and activities such as playing cards or board games are just a few of the services AHHC staff can provide. Transportation - Assistance with transportation to doctor appointments, hospital discharge, hair salon, social events and other sites by request. Shopping/Errands - AHHC staff will run errands such as prescription pick-up, grocery shopping, dry cleaning drop off and pick-up or any other errands you may need. Meal Preparation - Companions will prepare meals and take care of all the clean up for you. Chore Services/Housekeeping - Homemaker services include washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning the floors, bathrooms, closets and other light housekeeping tasks by request. Hospital & Surgical Recovery - Caring professionals are available to provide post hospital support based on individuals needs. Care Management - Companions are available to advocate for you or your loved one and act as a liaison with physicians as needed.
